Description

The Designer Series 100-Bottle 5-Column Rack provides abundant storage space for your wine collection in full bottle depth compartments.  Redwood is the ideal wood for wine storage because it is naturally resistant to humidity, decay and mildew and will last a lifetime.  This rack is 5 columns wide by 19 rows high and can hold up to 100 bottles of wine. Each bottle is cradled on 2 rails that are cut with beveled ends and rounded edges which ensure the labels will not tear when the bottles are removed.           Rack easy to assemble even though instructions difficult to follow. Lightweight but very stable once constructed. Redwood smells wonderful and looks great for storage or display. Wine bottles fit great no matter what size (except for small Ports or Dessert wines). This rack configuration makes it easy to organize by wine types, Vineyard or favorites. Found I need more storage so will probably be buying another of the same rack to sit side by side.

          Once I got them together, which was an all day thing, they looked great. I installed them in my new wine room and they were the perfect compliment. The redwood makes the room smell like an old library and the color of the wood really compimnets the tone of the room. They hold a lot of bottles securely. I may have to buy another - after all I know how to build them now!

            Q1: Do the sides of the rack have paneling?

            A: No, they are open.

            Q2: What is the width of each wine slot?

            A: 3 13/16 inches.

            Q3: Where (Top, bottom, sides) on the rack do the wall mounts go?

            A: The wall mounts can be placed at any of these locations but on the top and bottom will suffice.
