Description

Old Europe will have nothing on your wine cellar when you add the Country Pine Series 192-Bottle Rectangular Bin Wine Rack to the mix. Made of attractive knotty pine, this rack is designed for bottle-on-bottle storage. The storage compartments are partial bottle depth (8.75 inches) for easy access. Store up to 192 standard-sized (750ml) wine bottles in this rack. It measures two columns wide by seven cases high. Assembly instructions, assembly hardware, and wall-mounting hardware are all included.


Use as an individual storage rack or mix and match to create your own wine display.

The wire brads supplied with the rack were hard to use and frequently bent. Switching to screws and drilling pilot holes and using wood glue made this a 2-hour project for 2 people but resulted in a sturdy rack. Whether with nails as provided or with screws, assembly is a 2=person project.

Overall, a good value for money and excellent capacity for the footprint.

Decent but no bargain

It comes with NAILS for assembly but should have SCREWS. I bought and used screws. I can't imagine how flimsy it would be if assembled with just nails!

It comes with NAILS for assembly but should have SCREWS. I bought and used screws. I can't imagine how flimsy it would be if assembled with just nails!

The bins are odd-sized so any bottles with sloped shape (burgundy, riesling) don't fit well and tend to fall out on the second and third layer in a bin. I solved this (mostly) by adding solid sides to the bins.

        This rack is easy to assemble and is suitable for bulk storage of wines. The price is very low, and it's reflected in the quality of the product. The pine wood in this product is very susceptible to splitting. There were not enough nails included with the product to completely assemble it.

        Hayneedle.com response:• To decrease the likelihood of splitting the manufacture of this wine rack recommends using a brad nailer to put this wine rack together.
