The Grotto Wine Cellar Products Collection begins with quality materials. Grotto uses Philippine or African Mahogany and All-Heart or Premium Redwood for structural integrity and enduring beauty. Poplar, Fir, or Cedar woods are avoided because these do not stand up to Grotto's expectations. Each wine cellar unit comes standard with 3.75-inch bottle cubicles to fit to fit most of the 750-ml bottles on the market, including fat Oregon Pinot bottles, some champagnes, and even the oddly shaped Turley bottles. Grotto's "easy-edge" bottle holders are longer and thicker than the standard to prevent label tearing, even after prolonged storage.

All wine cellar units feature dado spacer bars for greater integrity, a cleaner appearance, and easier installation. Each of Grotto's corner units feature true one-piece radius moldings with no finger joints or unsightly screws on the front of the wine rack.
